Deliciously Naughty Tips About Pregnant Kink

Submitted by Chris on 6 September 2008 - 10:06am.

Blogger Deliciously Naughty has recently found herself knocked up and on the very brink of adding a third member to her household (how the hell did that happen, DN?). Whether you know DN in real life or only through her writing, you know how much she loves her kink, and pregnancy adds extra challenges to vanilla sexuality, never mind activities like bondage and flogging, and literature on the practicalities of dealing with those desires and practices is rare at best. Ironically, once women enter the role of mother, it makes it even more important for them to be well-behaved and chaste.

Anyway, after dealing with these issues for several months, Deliciously Naughty has written a post that sums up the risks and solutions to living a BDSM lifestyle. After giving the caveat that she's not an expert and that the article isn't comprehensive, Deliciously Naughty gives a clear and intelligent overview of many different things that will come up during pregnancy, including:

  • Increased sensitivity in parts of the body, such as the breasts or clitoris, which can be either good or bad, depending on the person;
  • Why not to wear corsets during the pregnancy;
  • Emotional volatility in pregnant women that might interfere with kink play;
  • Don't do electrical play of any kind;
  • When doing bondage, take into account that pregnant women may be seized with the sudden and irresistible need to pee.
There's a lot more, and it's even better that this is a personal post about DN's relationship with her husband and the experiences they've had in the last few months as well as a basic primer about how to keep being kinky when parenthood comes along.
