I saw the delftware dildo on Audacia Ray's Naked City and then followed the links to the reviews by Tess at Urban Gypsy and by Always Aroused Girl, but I really wanted to know about who made the thing. So I followed links to the Oooms home page and the collection above is what I saw.
Can I just say I think it's really cool that a company selling tables and chairs and salt and pepper shakers isn't afraid to put anal beads and dildos amongst its other merchandise? In fact they almost get lost in the picture, which is a shame really given how beautiful they are. But if you look closely you'll find them. There they are in the center near the bottom. How appropriate :) (Click on their image to see a larger photo.)

It's awesome that they treat these as just another household item, no need for a special "adult" section, behind a curtain, hidden in shame.

The Boy in JanieBelle's head
Just imagine what would happen here in the States if a furniture company had dildos on their site: picketing, boycotts and lawsuits, oh my. Even if the company split them onto different sites there would probably be a fair amount of negative feedback if the connection was made.
Still, maybe this company does get a lot of bad press from this but they are just a type of 'new-age' company that would want that type of publicity.
-The Sex Toy Guy
A sex toy store opened up in John's Creek outside Atlanta,GA.The locals protested until the place was nearly closed down. It was allowed to remain open,if the sex toys etc. were not put out on display. All that fuss over some items that gave bring relief and smiles to all those soccer mom's in good ol' John's Creek, while the hubby keeps the working gals in Hotlanta busy! It's okay to have 'those kinds' of parties in their living rooms, just don't be so brazen and open a store in their town! I don't know the outcome of this story.
Catchy name,John's Creek.
I had to look twice to find the dildo from the picture. How beautiful, on their website it even says for the mantlepeice but clearly says its a dildo. Its nice that some companies arn't so uptight about sex.
